The Canal is a charming place, but filled with loved ones and a beautiful sunset wedding- it became an unbelievable intimate setting. You know, as parents from out of state, we saw the Canal, the website, and I spoke with you. But in truth, you never know what you’re going to get for your money- until it happens. As my husband and I were seated at dinner, he leaned over and said, 'this is worth every penny we have spent.' I never expected this caliber of food, service or atmosphere. We were blown away by all of your staffs friendliness and professionalism. And the food was the best; we received countless raves from our guests. "Jewel catered a dinner for us last weekend at JM Cellars in Woodinville. It was spectacular. We left the menu planning up to Marcia and Chef Ian and we were so pleased. I cannot say enough about the food, service and attention to detail. In addition Jewel had donated this dinner at a Children's Hospital Autism Center Auction - it was a big donation and greatly appreciated. In the current economy it is exceptional to see small businesses being so giving.

When our original venue cancelled with only a month's notice, you were accommodating and helpful, calming our frazzled nerves and helping us work out details with grace and calm. You answered multiple emails with patience and professionalism, down to details like sending a photo of the ceremony chairs for the florist and matching our original catering menu to yours. When we met our banquet captain, I immediately knew we were in good hands for the night of the wedding. She went above and beyond the call of duty, rearranging flowers, coaching the bride and groom on cutting the cake, even helping me with the hook on my dress. By the end of the evening, she felt like a friend. Thanks to both of you! You truly made a difference in our big night!"
"I am so grateful for the paradise that you created both here and at the Canal. Dawn, family and friends felt they were entering a different world and it made it so easy for people to wander in total wonder and relax. I have never heard such a relaxed mode of conversation among so many very different people. All past and present differences were totally forgotten in both places. And, I haven’t begun to tell you the many descriptions of how wonderful the brunch was. Better than the best resort, was the one that I heard over and over. The gym was turned into a magical environment.
The last great surprise of all was on Sunday I was planning on spending a bit of time on rearranging things and cleaning up the gym floor and whatever else needed it. When I went out there to start, I was very pleasantly surprised to find the whole place cleaned up and everything put away better than before. Nice! So again, many, many thanks for not only making my idle thoughts into a plan, but then, taking that and turning it into a fantasy come true for so many. I am sure that none of those present will ever forget it."
