What food options does Jewel Hospitality have available to me?
We specialize in a variety of exquisite northwest menu options, as well as cuisines from around the world. Our Catering Chef is happy to work with you to customize a menu that meets your needs, however most of our clients find that our existing menu offerings are perfect for their event!
Can I have a tasting before booking an event with Jewel?
Yes of course! If you have already booked your event with Jewel you are invited to our complimentary group tasting event we host each February. We also offer private tastings for anyone looking to book catering with us (prices very based on tasting menu selections).
Does Jewel provide a bar service?
We offer exclusive bar service in all of our venues. Our mixologists are well trained professionals with many years of experience behind the bar! We do allow outside alcohol into our venues subject to a corkage fee, however you will find that our extensive list of wines, beers, and spirits will have something for everyone!
Does Jewel provide rental equipment?
The Canal and Ballard Bay Club are all inclusive venues with rental amenities provided and included in your venue fee. Should you request additional rental equipment, our event planning team works closely with Pedersen's, Cort, and Prop Gallery. Your event coordinator will gladly make some your rental arrangements with those three vendors for you based on your decor concept. We are here to make the event planning process easy for you!
How do I book an event in one of your venues?
So glad you would like to book with Jewel! Please fill out an inquiry request form on this website and a Jewel Hospitality sales representative will get back to you promptly with a packet of information about our venues and catering options. They will also arrange a time to meet with you for a venue tour.
Does Jewel require a food and beverage minimum?
Yes, our venues do require a food and beverage minimum for booking. This information will all be provided in the packet of information sent by a Jewel Hospitality sales team representative. Please fill out an inquiry request form to receive the packet of information!
Can Jewel accommodate special meals? (Allergy friendly, Vegan, Gluten-free, etc)
Absolutely! We have an allergen certified staff to help guide you through our menu selections. If you have restrictions or concerns please let us know and we are happy to work with you. One of our hospitality professionals will assist you in making the best decisions for you and your guests. Ask us about our customized menu options including: allergen-free, vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free.
Can we bring outside food into your venues?
Due to King County Health Department regulations we are forbidden from allowing outside food and beverage to be brought into our venues, however, full wedding cakes, and candies do fall outside of these regulations and are permitted to be brought in for your event at no additional charge!
